Is this forum about the movies or the books?

I really enjoyed the movies, but like so many others, the books are far better. Ever so often I re-read all of them. Thinking about taking that journey again soon. Anybody else like to come along?

I read the Hobbit again a couple of months ago. I hadn't read it in about 10 years. Awesome book, I must say. I plan to read LOTR, The Silmarillion, and the books of history in the near future.

I would highly recommend reading The Children of Hurin which was released a year or so ago. This was a novel JRR Tolkien never quite finished and was recently completed by his son, Christopher (he'd been working on it for many, many years).
